Until Color Found Me

A novel by Zieozi Katharine Olen

Until Color Found Me is a young adult novel by Zieozi Katharine Olen, published by Pantraxxa. Jonah has been followed by a raincloud for three years, until he meets Mari, a girl followed by flowers that bloom with her emotions.

About the book

For three years a raincloud has followed Jonah everywhere. It soaks his clothes, ruins his schoolwork and makes people move away before they get close enough to know him.

Then Marigold, known as Mari, steps into the rain. Flowers follow her and bloom with her emotions. She seems to be everything Jonah is not: bright, hopeful and full of color. The closer they become, the more Jonah sees that even flowers can hide pain.

With a chaotic poodle named Goose, a hidden garden and a friendship neither of them expected, Jonah and Mari learn that being understood is not the same as being fixed. Healing does not always mean the clouds disappear. Sometimes it means finding somewhere safe enough to let it rain.
